data collectors have an incredibly important role to play
Whilst it is true that on a project-to-project basis, data collectors hands are often tied as to what they can do to improve the experience of, for example, taking an individual survey, there is much they can, and need to, do as the interface between our industry and those all so important people, our participants. Data collectors control the overall experience, as well as the overall relationship, holding the key to recruiting, motivating and retaining the right people. They have the ability to see the big picture and collect the all-important metrics, which will help drive behavior change, for example with respect to embracing mobile. As such, data collectors are a critical piece in the participant engagement puzzle, and we encourage them to work with us together with agencies, end clients and tech providers to improve the experiences we give everyone, who willingly participates in research.
